What is the soul
and does it change
when it is freed?
Is there a lightness
inside
clamouring to shine?
arms ready to reach
wanting to comfort
knowing finally
how to teach peace,
but suddenly caught
in the moment of knowing
One moment away
and having to wait
-but not really minding?
A destination
worth a lifetime of journey
and resolved
we are on our way.
